Hey Jeremy thanks for the BA. I'm glad you got it figured out. I been working some crazy hours the past month with little time for helping in the community. As you found Elastix and asterisk is amazing on what you can do if you push the right button.
On this new route just for the faxes, you might include a dial pattern (at the bottom of the list) for the 9. just in case you have a user that gets confused and tries to dial 9 from a fax machine.
